Belting
Our customers have discovered the truth about our nylon nonwoven spunbonds. Our nylon spunbonds with their superior fiber uniformity and higher temperature resistance offer some very unique benefits for belting manufacturers. Nylon’s affinity for rubber allows a better flow to the surface area during the vulcanization process resulting in a better surface finish coming right out of the vulcanizing press. This improved surface finish translates to less sanding and surface re-work.
With the higher temperature resistance our nylon 6,6 nonwovens you do not have to worry about the cost and inconvenience of a low-melt co-polymer like most polyester spunbond fabrics. Our fabric doesn’t tend to stick to the press plates and cause fouling especially when there is a machine stoppage.
The Nylon Advantage®
One of the Toughest and most durable man-made polymers
High tensile and tear strength even at low fabric weights
Extreme thermal stability and high melting points
Resistant to most chemicals, solvents, alkalis, and acids
Excellence in uniformity and high quality applications
